The best beaches in the whole wide world! No doubt! The best time of year, when the weather cools a little, the crowds go away, the water is clear,,, ahhh geez,, perfect for old farts like me and my senora especialllity.
Don't you guys have a "Beach Weather Witch" who we vacationers can make sacrifices to to ward off Hurricanes, Pygmy Rattlers, gunmen and renters insurance??
Supposed to check in Monday Sept 1. Well, maybe not, huh?
Best of luck to you all. We can reschedule, but I have regrets for those of you who will suffer because of the storm.
Keep the faith. Your home is a small piece of MY heaven:blush:

Hey Mack, sorry the weather isn't cooperating for you, buddy. I'm sure that is no fun to plan a vacation around weather, almost impossible. I've been working on creating a digital Weather God Idol for people like you. The thought is that you could by them online. They would be virtual, so no shipping needed, very timely delivery, via email, no waste of precious materials in producing them, and not harmful to the environment. I'd keep the costs down fairly low, maybe $5 each. What you would receive is a virtual model of the Weather God Idol, and it would send out good weather vibrations into the universe to try and make the weather almost perfect for your trip. Trip insurance -- $150. Virtual Weather God Idol -- $5. What do you think?

Hey JOe, I'll take the first one. Please add a PIN Code so my kids can't use it, OK? Also, what is the range on it?
You will want to consider syndicating it to Dish Network to upload to satellites for extended coverage.

The range is limitless. The Weather God Idol image which would be emailed, can be emailed anywhere in the world where you have internet or cell phone coverage. The actual good intentions which are sent out into the world, are kind of like buying those carbon credits -- you don't see them, but you know they are helping in some way.

Will it take the shape of one of those Weather Channel guys? They seem to ward off storms for us lately. Maybe we can burn (or delete) L.L. Bean catalogs as offering.

How about another catalog? L.L. Bean is one of the few national catalogs that brings money into the area. ;-)

Well, Crap Again!!
Just as soon as I rescheduled our trip to SoWal, the Hurricane Center/NWS moves GUSTAV further West. That sucker will probably land in Mexico, and the weather at SoWal all next week will be PERFECT. Crap.

Thanks, we appreciate your disaster mitigation services.

Should you be able to actually make it at some other time, I'll buy you a beer.

I am so sorry! Don't think the weather will be perfect. We're still in the :idontno: stage. It will be beautiful later on! SJ's Weather God Idol will take care of that.:floor:
