Notice to all who read this! Anna Kay and I had our bikes stolen from outside Bud and Alleys today (Sunday Aug. 16th). My Bike is a 26" Blue and Grey GT Avalanch, Anna Kay's is a 17" Green Shwinn beach cruiser with a white basket. If anyone has any information leading to the return of the bikes please contact me.

so sorry to hear this...it saddens my heart, it's evidence that this place is changing, and not in a good way.:(

Sorry about the bikes getting stolen. Did you lock them up? Did you file a report with the Sheriff's office? I will keep an eye out. Times are tough all over so remember just because we live at the beach doesn't mean we can leave things the way we used to....trusting. I find too many doors and windows unlocked.:bang:

Stop in and give a description to Seaside security, whose office is upstairs in the building where Cafe Rendezvous is located. Typically someone will "borrow" bikes and then leave them somewhere else in Seaside or WC.

Big Country, nothing has changed in Seaside. Bikes are constantly being "borrowed," yet not returned, around Seaside. A friend of mine bought some used cruisers, and we bought paint and made them look fancy. Rode them to B&A's for a drink, and an hour later, all three were gone. That was four years ago. Only a few of us can ride a 26" bike, so should be easier to spot. Too bad there isn't a security cam aimed at that courtyard, for shi-ite like this.

Too bad there isn't some easy and inexpensive way to keep your bike from wandering.......................oh wait, it's called a bike lock!

Too bad there aren't any bike racks at that location.

It's hard to ride a bike w/ a lock through the tires ........ or 2 bikes locked together!

Or locked to one of the many racks around Seaside - if you can ride a bike and walk up the stairs to Bud & Alley's you can walk the short distance from a bike rack!

Plus the lock makes a great tool for beating the $%(@#(@ who would steal someone's bike!

Thanks to the seaside security one of the bikes, the green schwin beach cruiser, was found today in some bushes in seaside.

The angry man in the orange pick up has taken your bike and thrown it in the Gulf.
