It just popped up out of no where, right off the coast, but looks to be heading for Texas. New Orleans folks better batten down the hatches though, it'll side swipe you on it's way.

Goes to show I haven't been watching the weather... I had no clue.

Tropical Storms Edouardo could open up some coastal dune lakes. How big will our surf and surge get. The polluters that leave their stuff on the beach better get it off today. A sailboat was left on the county land/beach near the walkover in the outfall. IMO, not appropriate in the first place. But, if Eastern Lake gets a big blow out opening like Draper did a few weeks ago, it could be swept out to the Gulf, and or worse, wrecked and stuck in the middle of the outfall. This sudden storm is another excellent example of why junk should never be left out on the beach overnight.

The waves were wild at Grayton yesterday!
BTW- whoever left their TELEPHONE POLE at Grayton, please goes retrieve it. It was rolling around n the surf and a good wave could make it bounce hard enough to cream quite a few people! (I am not kidding- there was a freakin' telephone pole!)
