C'mon! Give your input!
I'm interested in sarting a new project in the South Walton area. What product or service would you like to see offered in the area that would be an asset?

We need a gym that offers childcare further east than Gold's.

I'd like to be able to let my dogs out for a wee and poo, without going home to do so, but I'm not willing to pay for the service. Maybe we could get advertising to pay for it.

;-) Just kidding! Citymouse & I are working to make the service we think SoWal needs the most a reality.

Larger full time population with a willingness to part with more money.

Gay bar!
What's the diff between a bar and a gay bar? :idontno:
Can't you just go to a bar and be gay?

strip club. Yes, there is an ordinance against them in Walton County, but one in Lithonia or Livonia (not sure which), GA was just bought by the city for $1 million, since the Court said that they couldn't shut them down, because dancing nekked was a Constitutionally protected right of freedom of expression. Woo -- hoo! The City closed the business after purchasing it.

You're in the wrong part of Florida. Go south. No shortage down there. ;-) I have heard that the weak economy has also hit that industry.

1-Do-it-yourself car wash to replace the one they tore down in Seagrove
2-Walgreen's in the Publix center on 395. Just a prescription counter, thanks.
Yeah, I should patronize SR Pharm in Gulf Place.
And I do, sometimes.
But the Walgreen's national network is a big plus for me.
3-Good Chinese restaurant between 98 and the Gulf
4-Free public swimming pool
5-Krispy Kreme (according to others in the TF household)
6-TDC, county, or charity operated depot for the confiscated beach crap
7-Non partisan county election process for local offices
8-Free local drinks at B&A in the off season. Thanks for offering, Dave. :funn:
9-Grapevine connection to the TF house so I don't miss Dread's special guests at the Red Bar

Yes, but I don't think you're going to see a go-go boy on the bar at Red Bar anytime soon. ;-)

Restaurant Delivery Service. They have the menus, you call them and tell them what you want from where, and voila! When I have to travel to other parts of Florida on business, and I'm alone, and it gets dark (I do not drive after dark in strange places), these services are a lifesaver and a grayt alternative to room service.
However, I am just not sure that one would work here, yet. We have a good number of great restaurants with amazing fare, but the ambience suffers when eating great food out of a styrofoam box.

I second that...I think one up off 98 would be great in the SRB area anywhere between Grand Blvd and 395. If I didnt have so much to lose and investors I would jump all over it.

I just heard about one on 393, "Paw Paws" I think. What a great idea! I bet one down south (of 98) would be successful.

Sitter Services for Pets, Kids, Seniors and Homes. I am trying to get one started but the insurance/bonding is too expensive!
I have the time, if someone has the money!

that can be a drop off point for county busses and then the parent can pick up from there. (same concept as Roane school in Okaloosa county)

Yep... I haven't joined a gym since my son was born 4.5 years ago because there's no way I can go unless I can bring them. Something like a Y with a pool would be totally awesome... my MIL is so sick of hearing me lament about it that she would even pay my membership, lol! But it doesn't have to be big and fancy, just clean. Infact, relatively cheap would even be better.
