View Full Version : Wanted: Kayak
We want a kayak! Preferably used...do any of the rental companies have year-end sales or anything like that? Where should we buy? What should we buy? We've rented a couple of times and figure by now we would have made a dent in the purchase of one. Suggestions appreciated!

I have a one-man, sit on top kayak which I will sell for $200 with paddle. It is designed for riding the waves. Short in length, with smooth bottom for easy turning in the surf. If you are looking to travel any distance, this kayak is not for you. What you give up with the short, easy turning kayak, is speed and tracking in a straight line.
There are various types of kayaks, designed with different functions in mind. I'd suggest talking to a trustworthy dealer to understand which type might best suit your needs. Go talk to John or Lynn at Yellowfin Sports in Seagrove and they can help you out, and may have just the boat for which you are looking.
