Does anyone have a clue as to the reason for plowing and then putting down sod along Hwy 20 going east from Freeport? I assumed, when I saw the workers digging along the shoulders, that they were to be widened. There is not enough pavement to pull over and be on the shoulder itself and so this would have been a good idea. Also, may I say that the re-stripeing that was just done is terrible (crooked) and that there is a large patch of pavement that was just omitted. Who is responsible for these projects? Will they actually water the side of the highway or just let the grass die?
