SoWal, Freeport, Defuniak -- seek shelter immediately -- Storm quickly approaching! Probably only 30 minutes away. Reports of hail and up to 60 mph winds. Run for shelter PRONTO. Thunder is rolling in the distance. Storm is coming out of the east, at speeds of about 20mph.

update, it is closer than that, but looks like it may miss SoWal, but Freeport and Defuniak Springs will be hit hard for a moment.

Radar shows it has passed us, but our sky now has that "funny" look. :idontno:

According to the link above, the storm hasn't passed you yet, but it may go just north of you, and the edge of it hit the Bay.

It doesn't look good in Bunker.

Fuzz is outside trying to light charcoal. Maybe I should say something to him.

looks like SoWal will miss it completely, but keep an eye out just in case. Center of the storm is around Rock Hill Rd, midway between Freeport and Defuniak, and the center of the storm has crossed hwy 331, and heading west.

I was in Defuniak on Friday, and a storm popped up quickly with probably 40 mph winds and heavy rain blowing sideways, but it was pretty much gone within 30 minutes.

That was a doozy of a storm. First rain in several days. My lawnmower is broke and my grass is starting to grow inches a day again.

Seems pretty much over now. The lightning on the backside is the next worry.

The lightning on the backside is the next worry.

Is your backside frequently struck by lightning? :idontno:
