this is getting very interesting. I do wish that having her on the ticket would be a good idea. I'm afraid at this point it just is not. No one wants a threesome with bill. plus, from all I've seen and heard, she has truly handled herself very poorly in the last few days. I am very sorry to see it, but perhaps true colors need showing right about now. I mean, we all know how she works but its easy to overlook as long as she keeps up a professional demeanor in front of the camera. I realize there is always a real person beyond that public persona. but sometimes it isn't pretty.

Now CNN is saying the meeting has already taken place, and that it wasn't at the Clinton's house, despite what the NY Times was reporting. I guess the Clinton's wanted the reporters and their lights to leave so that they could get to bed.;-)
It appears that there are a lot of Obama supporters who are anti-Clinton, and vice-versa. It seems that this would split the Dems, and the Republicans would win.
There are a lot of bitter people out there.

Concerning a Obama/Clinton ticket, I agree with Tootsie. It's time to move on.
Also, I personally do not consider Obama the Messiah, but then I've never considered any candidate for POTUS any sort of deity--or demon.
I sure am ready for a change, though, and I cannot wrap my mind around how a Clinton supporter would consider a protest vote for McCain to be a tribute to Hillary.

I'd be more than scared if I were Obama, with a Clinton waiting to step up if something "happened" to Obama. I don't think there is a chance in hell that Obama would drop his thinking hat long enough to even consider Hillary as VP.

I agree. I did, however, hear something interesting on tv the other day that really susrprised me.They said that even though the presidential candidates have always been given the right to put whoever they want on the ticket, that the ultimate decider is the Democratic National Committee. I don't think that it would happen but they have the power to put Hillary on the ticket as V.P. if they think it is best for the party. Disclaimer - I have not researched this.
