Two families are coming to Seagrove Beach at the end of June/first of July. I am curious about fishing trips for part of our group (men and kids). What do you recommend and who? I realize you probably can not advertise but could you PM me. It would be 5-6 people. I doubt we could afford a private charter but also dont know that we are interested in a boat with 50 people on it. As for the length, not sure if we are interested in an all dayer either--but would consider it. We are just green at this and want to have fun, but also want to catch stuff. I would appreciate any thought and recommendations.

People are welcome to advertise their business on these forums. There have been recommendations of many different boats on SoWal.com.

Some small boats have an age limit. There are many boats in Panama City and Destin that take large numbers (party boats)

First question is how many people would be going. Most of the boats out of Grayton Beach are smaller boats handling only maybe 4-6 people at the max. All of the Grayton captains will put you on fish, though several of them have so many repeat customers that they cannot take on new customers during the summer, although there are a few who are still growing their customer base. As Kurt mentioned, there are several threads on here with contact info for the guys based out of Grayton Beach.

I would recommend checking out this website, http://www.shallowwaterexpeditions.com/. They have about 12 or so guides and offer a variety of trip options. I'm sure you would be able to book something with one of them. Have fun!!

I'd have to agree with Lauren - check out Shallowwater :)
