I have been looking for a 1 bedroom condo across the street from the beach for 5-6 nights for some time during the last 3 weeks in July. I have found a few and I believe they are all around the Seagrove/Seaside area (please feel free to correct me if I am wrong). We keep moving further and further east of Destin each time we visit. :D
Anyway, I have found some good rates on a few condos (either through vrbo.com or vacationrentals.com) and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the ones I am going to list such as if they are nice, new or old, how close/far from the beach they are. The contenders are:
Rollin' Tide
Hidden Beach Villas
Beachwood Villas
Seagrove Highlands
We are looking to pay between $100-$125/night for a place (I have found these rates at the above mentioned condos). If you know of any other rentals in this price range, I would most certainly be interested! Thank you!

Try www.seagrovebeach.com (http://www.seagrovebeach.com) it is a vacation rental web site with virtual tours of the properties and on line booking if you chose to do that. Or you can call 800-seagrove. Several of the properties that you mentioned you will find on the site. Each unit has it's own virtual tour...so you know what you are getting. Good luck and welcome back to the beach this summer!

Thanks for the referral! Missouri girl, if you've not yet found a place to stay for your vacation, look at mine: www.vrbo.com/91418 (http://www.vrbo.com/91418). Kurt did the virtual tour for us; click on link at the bottom of the vrbo page or look directly at www.sowal.com (http://www.sowal.com) under the Seagrove Beach rentals. It's called "Mermaid Cove."

And Mermaid's is directly across the street unlike Rollin Tides and some of the others. :welcome:

Plus it's not at a busy intersection.
