I thought there might be some interest in Scott McClellan's book. I have mine preordered and can't wait to read it. I thought his interview on the NBC this morning was intriguing. I bet he is being burned in effiagy in the White House today

You have time to read a book?

Darling, when you are 60 and in a wheelchair...you have all the time in the world to do the things you never could when you worked 24/7.

I don't understand why anyone would pay for the hardcover edition of this book. You already get the drift from the last several days of TV news what the big bombshells are, and the bombshells are kind of duds because they simply confirm what many suspected for a long time. But go on and spend the $$$ if you wish, the economy needs a boost (buy it at Sundog!).

To me it is interesting because McClellan is the first person from inside the White House at that time, to confirm what most knew to be true but the Bush PR campaign has been so unrelenting. There remain those who claim everyone who disagrees with the Bush account of history is considered non compis mentis. I guess at my heart, I just love it when fools get caught with their pants down

Good point jensie--Note to Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson: Cheney and Rove will get their due, someday, if there is a God.

Rove may get it sooner than later from some of the reports I have been coming across. Sopenias are being mentioned since he won't testify in the ex-Alabama gov case without one and something about the federal attorneys issue as well.

Yes Clinton was a bad boy, and got caught but at least he was not assaulting the entire Country and it's future generations. Bush, et al, hold that record. I will refrain from the more colorful and precise language to describe what has and is occurring out of respect for the innocent minds and ears. But if anyone wants to know how I really feel, look me up. Gas prices will keep me home until November but I will be in Grayton along with my extended family. Maybe we can rumble on the beach. I am hell on my walker.....

That's a big DITTO jensieblue!
The most ignorant question asked of McClellan so far is, "If you felt this way then why didn't you say something while you were in the White House?" Yeah, sure.....stick your neck out there and get your head chopped off!!!!!
Oh well....on to November!

Yes, onto November, but lest we forget the lies, deceit, and misery created by Bush and Cheney (2000 to 2008)!!

I am no fan of either Bush or Clinton. Both wanted to impinge my liberties too much and both were fond of spending too much money.
As for the book, tell-all- books have been around a long time and they are fair game. If it had not been for John Dean coming forward, we may have never known about Watergate.
