Starting to pick up just north of Destin here along with some amazing lightning.

It's a rainy night in Georgia. I went out for a walk. It started pouring. It was raining so hard that my shoes filled with water. I ran the last mile. Several people (actually, all of them physician friends of mine) offered to give me a ride home, but I was already drenched, so I thought WTF -- I might as well get the exercise.

Hope my orthotics aren't ruined.

Just picked Cap'nCrazy up in P-cola. His plane was the last to land before they closed the airfield. It was nasty all the way back to SoWal. We should be seeing it soon.

We got rain. By the time it reached us it was just a nice water the lawn and flowers shower. Lot of nasty wind, thunder, and lightening ushered it in. But, just enough pitter, patter on the roof to lull you to la-la land. :yawn:

We had a heavy rain this evening while coming back from North Mississippi. The closer we got to Memphis the darker it got. Rode in it for maybe 30 to 45 minutes. Had quite a light show with it.
