Stopped by to visit a friend at her new gallery the other day. The name of the gallery is The Dreaming Tree Gallery and is located in the Village of South Walton. It is one of the little houses out by the fountains.
She is now offering kids paintings with and without direction. She provides an 8x10 stretched canvas (artist grade, not paint by numbers), brushes, and paint. Your child can paint their masterpiece.
She generally keeps the paintings over night for drying and they are ready the next day to pick up.
I was surprised at some of the talent that has already painted. One of the artists (6 years-old) had painted a beautiful abstract without any direction.
Oh and it's $35.00.

I forgot to mention for really small children they can also do handprints. Keeps the younger ones from whining.

Actually no, it's geared towards kids, but I'm sure she would be happy to let anyone paint.

The little huts in front of the big brick thing. With the fountain that kids are forever playing in. I can't get any more specific than that.

I have always really liked the name of that development -- "Village of South Walton." The fountain is really cool. Painting for kids fits in well. What a cool idea.

You do get around...the 'tree house' sounds cool;gotta keep the little people smilin. I just figured the whole deal was an empty box of broken dreams......the antithesis of "who put the forest in our mall?
I just figured the party started west of 'the creek'....& pst such & such until a new batch of "now for something fresh from design school" appears again.
Is it true you won the lottery, bought the flying saucer from wence you speak,& are in the procecc kof nationalizing the oil fields?
