Help! Fishing Tips

I am just learning how to fish and I have fallen in love. I can only fish from land because I get seasick on the calmest of days. I am looking for tips on great fishing places in SoWal. I am aware of 331, Cessna Park, the top of 395, and the gulf. I am also looking for tips that will help me become more skilled. Thanks!

learn how to tie a Pompano rig. They are about the easiest thing to make and you can use it to bottom fish for almost anything. I bet you can google "pompano rig" and find easy instructions.

Use that Pompano Rig just down the street from your house. There is a great location. From your house, hit the main public access (sh!). From there, walk down a couple hundred feet to the east, and look for the deeper place, and on that edge where the depth changes, is where you want your bait to be. I've never seen it, but supposedly, there is an old wrecked boat buried in the sand near there, and you can supposedly see it on occasion when the sand shifts.
