Thunder can be heard and the wind is starting to blow. Weather channel shows the mess is on top of us as I write this........time to sedate the dog.

Think it's gonna be more bark than bite. I have all the porch sliding doors open lounging with the TV off. Very calming. Who needs a bike rally, anway?!

I hope so!
Currently it's a soaking rain, not a grumbly rumbly. I'd call this a nice sleeping or sleeping in rain.
Oops, as soon as I typed that there was thunder and the lights flickered!

My dog is at my feet under the desk, shaking and wimpering. He's an old boy and didn't have a problem with thunder until a couple of years ago. Can't figure out what started his fear. As long as I am touching him, he calms down. Poor baby. The little dog, Gracie, is sprawled out on the treadmill, no worries in the world for her. Thank God for the rain, it has been dry.

I know exactly which thunder clap you are talking about. When it it, I thought, "I wonder if Scooter heard that?"
Oh! There was another big one...
Kinda few and far between!

No worries! I ride close to 80 miles a day so the real enjoyment is the ride down and back. I rarely have the opportunity to just sit and do nothing at home in Atlanta so this rocks!
BTW...blame the rain on me! I washed my bike after breakfast at the Red Bar. I just talked to SWGB, and he said he had a friend or two wash their cars so it's all our fault!

Car and dog washing were on my list today..........waited too long....guess that is a good thing.

We use a rosemary/lavender spray on our dog when to calm her down. It helps. And makes us rest better too! :D
