We recently were offered an extreme price discount from Lookout http://www.lookoutshuttersinc.com/default.aspx which we are able to pass on to the public. We are one of their dealers and I personaly have been involved with them since 1999.
We will protect any opening for the price of $8.00 per sq ft installed
Home Depot is selling the panels alone for 10.50

I have these Lexan panels, they are great , easy to put up and take down by myself. I highly recommend them.
Charlie installed lexan panels and accordion hurricane shutters on 2 houses for us. He knows what he is doing and makes sure you are happy. Best piece of mind we ever purchased. Downside to lexan panels is that you have to store them somewhere. But they are a lot easier than plywood to put up and you don't have to live in a dark cave when you get back from evacuation. The accordian shutters are more expensive, but are great for 2nd and 3rd stories. Just lean out the window and close and lock everything up.

Charlie installed ours & did an amazing job!!! The best part is that in the hard-to-reach windows, we just left them up for the season. The panels are clear - so it doesn't hinder the light. We also got a sweet discount from our insurance company.

With the tropical storm brewing, just a reminder. Still the same price. Also on our website we do have an estimate tool. http://www.panhandlestormshutters.com/ . However its full retail so take 20% off.
