Children's guitar instruction?

I'm looking for someone to give guitar lessons to my 8 year old. Prefer someone with lots of experience with kids and a fun approach to learning.

Have you checked the music departments at your local colleges? High Schools? Churches? Even if some are located further than you'd want to drive, they may come to you for a slightly higher fee or even meet at a location mid-way.

Once you get the word out that you're looking, more and more will begin to come out of the woodwork. Even check online. I've even used privatelessons.com in the past.

Start calling and asking. Something will turn up. Good luck!! :wave:

The music instructor at Seaside Neighborhood School teaches guitar. He had openings for the summer for private lessons, not sure if he still does. You can call the school to leave a message for Jim and find out. The kids love him!
