Has anyone done a price comparison of the different shatter resistant windows? How do Pella, Hurd, Loewen, etc. compare?

Priced windows and doors about 6 months ago when we added a room to the house. We looked at Anderson, Pella and Hurd. For hurricane resistant, Pella was the cheapest overall for us. There's not a huge difference between them though. Oddly enough, Pella through Lowes was more expensive than Pella through the local dealer. You have to look at the total package - one might be cheaper for windows, but not for doors.

I have always found Pella to be the best price for the quality. Hurd should be less than Pella because it is less quality. Loewen has been more money than Pella every time I have compared.
