just got a call that the orionids meteor shower is tonite!
1-5 am tonite, approx. 20 'shooting stars' per hour, unfortunately the moon will be out too, so you'll have to block it out
be there or be square

yeah, you guys are getting our rain - send some of that back down here
anyway - it was cool and ok, but slow action and very high thin clouds
and the brighest moon I ever did see! Persieds were much better
I'll give the whole thing a 3 out of 10, mainly for boredom/moonblinding issues, but I'm glad I went anyway
don't you know it would have been beautiful at the beach with the waves and the water and the moon and the booze and the breeze and the lounge chairs and the zzzzzzzzz (snore!) between 'falling stars'
and when you get back in its chocolate croissants and lava hot kona coffee!
YUMMY!

You forgot about Red Tide! It seems better here this morning, but I haven't been down to the beach yet!

no red tide up here (see rant in other thread). this weekend's run to the beach may be a hour or so longer to avoid the RT. you be careful! and I bet molly feels it too.
I had the waves and the moon on the deck and then the chocolate crossants and kona coffee afterward anyway.

That sounds yummy, yummy, in your tummy!!!
Poor Molly was sneezing like crazy! We made a wild dash back to safety...air conditioning!!! She does not understand why outside time is so limited right now!

IT'S BAAAACK! It may be Wilma kicking up the gulf and sending it back in. I had the vapors all yesterday afternoon and a little this morning.

looks like this weekend we're going to indian pass or ochlochonee - depends on the wind, ochlochonee bay can be rough on a calm day to to the orientation of the bay to east wind - indian pass is great but a different fishing world altogether
