Hellloooo Once AGain-I am planning our vacation once again this year and have questions!! Does anyone have information on Topsail Village-I am considering renting a townhouse there and have a gotten a great price. Where is it in relation to GulfPlace? The whole idea of GulfPlace sounds great to me but I just can't find a 2 bedroom that fits into my budget this year-had a lot of family changes since last year. If anyone can give me any info I would greaatly appreciate it.

Yes, it is off the beach, but not too far, unless you are used to most rentals around here. It is north of Butler Elementary School, and would be about one mile drive, walk, bike ride to the nearest Public Access to the beach. However, there is only about two parking spaces at that access, and I think one is handicapped only. The next closest public access would be only another mile or so, and it is quite nice down that way. Stinky's Fish Camp is within a couple of miles and Gulf Place is a total of about 4 miles away. Donut Hole is probably about 3 miles in the other direction, with the Outlet Mall and shops at Grand Blvd just a little farther. Tops'l State Park is just across the street and down a little bit, so you could get a day pass and head to the almost secluded beach that way, too.

Correction,
The larger public access is 1.2 miles from Topsail Village and Gulf Place is 2.45 miles. (measured distance along the road)

i live in topsail... i generally like it
the dune allen beach access is .6 miles from it and the ed walleen access is only about a mile more
you won't notice much difference in location from gulf place in topsail as they are only 2.5 miles apart and still on 30A
i run several times a week and the nearby streets and timpoochee walking trail are very scenic and fun to navigate
