I'm trying the burger next time we go. I had a shrimp po-boy, and hubby had the andouille po-boy. The shrimp po-boy was loaded with shrimp. They were yummy.
And the guy behind the counter is quite a character, plus very friendly and helpful.
And the place is decorated so cute!

It's in the condos about 1/2 mile East of Tom Thumb in Seagrove. Just before the curve on 30A.
Here's the location on google earth:

Sorry about the lengthy url.
Can someone of knowledge tell me with confidence if the alcohol content of the average beer sold in north:idontno:west Florida is different than...say north Alabama? I have heard it is less... but that was along time ago. I still do not know?

I remember that from high-school, and maybe it was correct at one time, but I am pretty sure that is not the case anymore. Last I looked it up, there were a few states, plus Wash D.C. which allowed higher alcohol content in their "beer." If a beer contains more than the max alcohol allowed in a beer, it is called "Malt Liquor." I'm not sure if the states are more consistent now. Most breweries will make only one level of alcohol content for each beer, and don't make it differently for each state. Sam Adams used to make, and maybe still does, Sam Adams Black Stout (or something like that), which had a higher alcohol content, so they didn't sell it in most states, but you could go to Louisiana or Washington D.C., where they allowed higher alcohol content in beer, and find it. (there were other states, too, but I cannot recall which). Seems like they still make that beer, so they may have lowered the alcohol content. I'm sure you can google the subject and find out faster than reading through my post. lol.

"North Carolina is one of six states that have an alcohol limit on beer as low as 6 percent, though a handful of other states don't allow grocery stores to sell standard beer. The current limit has been on the books since 1935." (2005 news story)
"Georgia lawmakers passed a bill that increases the maximum alcohol content in beer from 6 percent to 14 percent, the Associated Press reported June 21, 2004."
Beer battle brewing in Alabama
Aficionados are fighting to end decades-old state restrictions on making and drinking their beverage of choice. They have raised the ire of Southern Baptists.
By Stephanie Simon, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
March 10, 2008
HARVEST, ALA. — Two dozen guys are crowded into a basement, talking loudly over Triscuits, when Scott Oberman breaks the law.
In defiance of Alabama Criminal Code 28-4-20, he pours his buddy a beer.
"John Tipton's Chocolate Porter," he announces. It's a dark brown beer, almost black, with a taste that starts out astringent, like cheap red wine, then mellows into a silky chocolate flavor, with fleeting notes of coffee and cinnamon.
Tipton, a big-bellied mechanical engineer, brewed it at home, for fun. That's illegal in Alabama. He estimates the beer is about 8% alcohol by volume. That's illegal, too....(full story (http://cwsfl.trb.com/features/la-na-beer10mar10,0,2145204.story))
..."Here in Alabama, home-brewing beer has long been a Class A misdemeanor, with a penalty of up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine. It's another Class A misdemeanor to sell or distribute any beer with more than 6% alcohol content. That puts off-limits 85 of the 100 top-rated beers in the world, as ranked by BeerAdvocate.com. "They think everyone down here is a bunch of damn rednecks and all we drink is Budweiser," grumbles Tipton, 48.
Whole categories of beer can't be sold in Alabama (except on federal military bases, where the state law doesn't apply). Among the forbidden brews: thick, dark Russian stouts, smoky Scottish ales, bittersweet barleywines and the legendary beers made by Belgium's Trappist monks...."
******
"They point out that 37 states, including Georgia's neighbors, Tennessee and Florida, already have no restrictions on the permitted alcohol content of beer. Massachusetts and South Dakota have 14-percent limit."
**********
Conclusion, you can buy only rice beer in Alabama, but Florida has good beers, in addition to the rice beers.

I agree that it is great to have a place like Flip Flops over there in Seagrove. However; it has been a while since I have been there since the first time I went the burger was VERY tasty but WAY TOO SMALL.
Is that still the case?
I did however eat at the Hurricane Oyster Bar the other day and they had a meatloaf special for lunch for only $7 which was a lot of food and great! My dining partner had the burger which was also only $7 and he could not finish it. Seems to me like they may have the best value food around... I can't wait to try the Oyster Nachos I have heard so much about them.

I have no idea what you call small, but I've been eating their burgers since the day they opened, and I never leave hungry. I'm a big guy with a big appetite, and the burger and fries is way plenty for me.

Perfect size at FlipFlops imo as well. I am able to leave and still enjoy the meal for a while instead of being miserable (like the time I ate two).

Paula, you are lucky. I can never make it past the tasty cheeseburgers. They are so good. One day I'm going to trick my stomach and order something else.
