SNOW! Jackie is going to love this! ..... Ohhh, I just remembered that she's driving home from school. She's never driven in snow..... I don't think I like this now. :( She's a little too fearless.

Cool! We are supposed to get snow too. The forecasts vary wildly, anywhere from 10 inches to 10 flakes. (actually 4 to 10 inches was the latest) None of the weather men can agree so they are covering all bases with rain, snow and sleet. Someone fetch me some milk.

Yeah, I saw lots of snowmen on the way home. But, they were those ones with the brown sheet in them...leaves & crap. Not pretty. I told stepdaughter who's camped out here she couldn't mess up my yard!

Hey Cheering- this little 5-10" snowfall has delayed my mom's trip back to Louisville....we are not letting her leave until Saturday am, so hopefully by Sunday the roads will be cleared!

Tell your Mom to be careful.

I bet the kids up there are more jealous of your kids at the beach.

Thanks for posting the pics DD. Lovely!

Hail, I thought Jesus had come back when I went to play kickball Sunday. That seemed more likely than having SJ stick around when I was in town, and he looks kinda like the pictures of Jesus I saw in Sunday School...

Hey Jenny. It started snowing around 7:00 this morning. John Belski is still saying 6-12 inches before we are through Saturday afternoon. He's posted his recipe for snow cream, so he means it. (Same recipe I grew up with too) They brined the roads and there was a run on milk & bread so we're ready. I refused to go to the store, too crazy. I have wine what else would I need.:D

Looking out my office window it looks like whiteout conditions I can barely see the office building across the street. I am fashionably ready, turtleneck sweater, boots etc and I'm going to KT's this weekend no matter how much snow we get. I think by Sunday it'll be clear though, tell her to be careful.

OL I'm so sorry I missed this post. They decided I needed to go home Friday so I rushed to do a few things and left. The recipe is: 1 really big bowl of clean snow, 1/2 to 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla and 1 to 1.5 cup of milk. Mix well and enjoy.

We still have plenty of that first ingredient so we're good. Thanks for the recipe!
