Hundreds of thousands of people in South Florida without power.
How's that condo on the 14th Floor working for you Granny?

CNN reporting 4.4 mil w/o power up and down both coasts from Miami to Tampa and Jax.

NPR said on one news account that there were "no safety issues"...a half hour later they reported, "the power plant at Turkey Point was turned off due to safety issues":confused::idontno:

It is bad. Mr. K's dad had his hip replace a week ago in Naples and is now in a rehab facility. They called his surgeon for a much needed appt. and were told the elevator is out in the building! :eek:
