Yes, I've been waiting for SNL to come back. I thought the opening was hysterical as well.

How about Huckabee on Weekend Update?

I love Tina Fey, and was so happy to see SNL back.

It's funny that this came up here...on the political message boards all the Hillary Clinton supporters came out of the woodwork posting about this "endorsement." I took it as satire. I mean, Liz Lemon basically did the full blown Obama endorsement last fall. And the piece started out talking about ladies' news for your mothers and daughters and the grumpy old women in your office, and saying it's a great time to be a lady because of the yogurt that makes you poop. But oh my god, how funny was she last night?

"What is it that weirds you out about co-Presidents, America? Is it because they're married? 'Cause I can assure you, these two are having sex with each other as often as George Bush and Jeb Bush are.":funn:

The opening of SNL and the Weekend update were super--much like the ORIGINAL SNL was. (In my opinion, the rest of the show was rather lame. I do not care for scatalogical humor or just stupidity.) But Fey was at her best with her endorsement of Hillary. To be on the fair side, Obama was pushed too, but the cast's search for a good Obama has not reached fruition.
It is pretty obvious no one was giving kudos to McCain. But Huckabee was superb. Interesting, our politics. Just hope there is no more robbery of Florida votes this next time around.

I just hope that by the time the election gets here that the Democrats will decide that Florida is once again relevant and allow the votes to be counted that are cast for their candidate.

Completely disagree - many people did NOT vote as they did not think their votes would count!!

The irony is that IF Florida and Michigan had stuck to their original dates for their primaries they would possibly be MUCH more relevant!!

Yet voter turnout for the Dems was at a record level. Imagine what it would have been if the candidates had considered the votes of the record Dem turnout relevant.

If they had stuck to the original date it would have been decided before it got to Florida. Thank goodness the Republican controlled legislature worked in conjunction with the Democrat minority to move the date up to a point of relevance. Too bad that the two leading Democratic candidates decided to listen to four relatively insignificant states and not allow the voters of Florida to have their votes counted.

One can only hope that if by some miracle they do win that they will consider the diversity of the Great State of Florida and listen to what the voters want in the future. I hate to see people being told that they are irrelevant.

It should not be the job of the NDC and Howard Dean to tell ANY state when they can hold their primary. That should be up to the individual states IMO.

The opening was quite long winded, funny, but a little on the lengthy side.
