All the restaurants in Pier Park should work out a discount movie ticket deal with the Grand theater.

Ioshius, I was over at PP on Thursday, and see that very few stores look like they will be part of the opening on next Thurs. Do you know which other stores are planned to open on V-Day? I understand that C.O.'s (certificate of occupancy) have not been issued yet, and that stops store owners from being able to stock their stores, if they want to play by the rules. Landscapers are working diligently to put on the finishing touches, as are the business owners. It is a hurry up and wait game. Not sure if you know other peeps in PP, but JP(a SoWal local) is opening the Red Brick Pizza place at the south end of PP. Go pay her a visit. I may be over there for the Grand Opening next Thur, so I'll pop in for a peek and maybe a menu sampling of some wings.

Smiling Joe: Here is the list of tennants I know 100% to be opening on Feb. 14th. Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries, Kilwins, Starbucks, Marble Slab, the clothing store next to Five Guys (sorry, don't remember the name off the top of my head), and there are 4 other tennants, though I don't remember who (sorry, it's 1:30 am and I've been at work since 9 am).

I also know 100% that Dillards and JC Penny will be open by March 1st. Most of the tennants south of The Grand will also be open by that date. I know a few retailers are set to open but are waiting for more of us to open our doors. As far as CO's go, I don't know anything on that front. I can't say I'd be surprised.

I'll definately visit JP at Red Brick. I haven't had a good pizze in a while! Also, I hope you get a chance to stop by BW's on Thurs, or over the weekend. Let the managers know everything, or ask for the owners: we'll be there, too!

rapunzel: Don't know if you were being sarcastic or not, but in the event you were, I'm not thrilled about Valentine's Day being the "Grand Opening" (if it can still be called such), but that is the date Simon Property Group set in stone, and I wanted to hold to the deadline. Seems only a handful of us did so... Anyway, we're (meaning those of us opening) are ify about what to expect on Thursday, but we think we'll see some decent visitation to Pier Park over the weekend.

Kurt: We'll see what can happen here: I know some of the other restaurant tennants have already tossed this idea out: now we just have to approach the theater!
