I have found my club sandwich heaven- Fun in a Bun on CR 283 (in the old Greek cafe space across the "pond" from Hurricane's. Tons of turkey, bacon, cheese, special sauce- and grilled. And I was served with a BIG smile and a thank you!

The potato salad with bacon is excellent too--

According to their menu, they deliver! 231-2865 ! Wonder if they have 4 wheel drive and can deliver to the beach?

A few menu items:smoked tuna salad AND dip, cuban sandwich, reuben, monte cristo, turkey avocado sandwich, cheeseburger, several hoagies, soups.

I had a monte cristo sandwich and tomato soup yesterday. Both were very good!! Plus the sandwiches come with a cookie you can't beat it.

Someone told me that there weren't any hot dogs on the menu. "Fun in a Bun" makes me think that there should be hot dogs somewhere... But that's just me. :idontno:

I just assumed they did hotdogs.

On another note I'm being remarkably good considering the words used in this thread.

We could always tell them about "The Truth about Trannies." Talk about taking something out of context! ;-)

BTW, their buns are closed to fun on Sunday; just discovered this... Had bunless fun at B&A Taco Bar in Seaside, instead.

To everyone that's been to our new joint - THANK YOU!! And thanks for all of the complements. The cookies are my own recipe and, as of this past Monday, we serve HOT DOGS. Very soon, we will have a beer & wine license. We also have muffulettas, meat ball hoagies, grilled pimento cheese sandwiches and egg salad sandwiches added to the menu. As things pick up(& after we get our beer license), we'll be open later, on Saturdays and will probably do a locals night (maybe Wednesdays). And yes, we have a 4 wheel drive and are planning to deliver to the beach. Thanks again - Renee & Greg

So glad you posted again (since somehow I missed the original). Can you post your menu?

You're right on my drive to work & I'd love to be able to call ahead & pick up!

Im headin down next week with some friends and would like to come grab a sandwich at your new place. We stay in Inlet Beach, basically right across 98 from the Spicy Noodle. How might I find yall from there?

Prissy
03-25-2008, 09:43 PM
To get to us from Inlet you can come 98W & turn left at 283 - we're 1 - 2 miles on the right, just past the little pond in the shops at Mystic Porte or you can come west on 30A and turn right at 283 (Grayton Beach stop sign) and we're about 1/4 mile on the left. The # is 850.267.3382. Ya'll be sure to introduce yourselves when you come in!!

We're still open just 10 -2pm. No beer license yet - imagine that!!:yikes:
