yes and yes. however, the polls are being analyzed every which way today.. some of them are showing that people felt that McCain was more electable in the general election, and so people tended to vote for him, even if they felt he was not conservative enough.

mitt romney certainly did turn me off with his "I'm more conservative than you" comments in every breath. especially after learning about his liberal leanings turned ultra conservative just in time for his campaign for president, which was largely financed by himself. these are the kind of tactics that make me really suspicious.
