Last time I was golfing and got rained out there was one guy who kept playing. According to his wiser golf partners, he had already been struck twice and hadn't learned his lesson!

Our house was also struck by lightning in June. Luckily the fire was small and we were able to put it out before the fire department got here. Needless to say it was a terrifying experience, but we have a VERY healthy respect for the power of lightning. We are the first ones off the beach/out of the pool when we hear the first rumblings of thunder.
