Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney became the first candidate in the 2008 Republican race to run an attack ad, slamming Mike Huckabee's record on immigration. What do you think?

Watch the ad. In no way is it negative. It simply focuses on the similarities between the two candidates and then explains their different stand on illegal immigration. If you are for giving in-state tution and scholarships to illegal immigrants, as Huckabee did, then there is nothing "negative" about the ad. If you are against those things, as Romney is, and you see Huckabee's record for them, then it may make you think twice about Huckabee.

To call the ad "negative" is media spin. The ad simply states the truth.

Thanks. :biggrin: Didn't know that. Regardless though, the media is spinning this ad as "negative" which it isn't unless you are for Huckabee and mad that is record on illegal immigration is being examined.

Just trying to add some humor to the political forum w/ the Onion - that's why they have occupations like "salt truck driver" and their comments are so crazy :D.
