Is it time to bring the container plants inside?
They were talking about it being in the 30s tonight, so I wondered if I needed to harvest my lettuce so it doesn't turn to mush. :idontno:

Anthing above freezing is ok. Just put an old sheet or somsthing like that over them and take it off before the sun hits them. Lettuce likes it a little cool.
High to mid 30s, don't do anything.

Thanks!
I figured any plants that had survived my "gardening" thus far would be rather hardy, but didn't want the cold to be the straw that breaks the camel's back!

Due to the warm weather all of my spring bulbs are sprouting!
Do I need to do anything special to make them come up again in the spring? :idontno:

I think they are as confused by the weather as we are.

I read this earlier today without looking at the original thread start date. I've been telling everyone to button up the freeze is back on. I just laid down to go to bed with the window open and realized I wasn't blue with cold.

The overnight low in Willieworld was 60 degress last night!! Who knows what to do about these spring bulbs unless you have a great big refrigerator to put them in.:idontno:

I am NOT going to dig up 100+ bulbs, so I am just hoping the warm weather continues long enough for me to enjoy some holiday hyacinths and tulips.

scooter, your bulbs should be fine. Most are very tough and will likely bloom again in spring. (I assume you planted them at appropriate depths.)
You may get to enjoy them twice!
