Have you been interested in volunteering but don't know where to start? :idontno:

Check this out!

We will have a training certification for hands-on volunteer work on Wednesday, December 5 beginning at 9 a.m. until noon. Please respond by Tuesday either by phone or email to sign up. If you are interested and can not make it on a weekday, please let us know and we will schedule a weekend date.

The course will include basic operation and procedures of Alaqua Animal Refuge and hands on interaction with the animals.

Are there any "minimum" age requirements? As homeschoolers we already have 17,324,987 things to do each day, but... have at least a few animal lovers!

I would assume that little kiddies might not be the best to volunteer - but that older kids would be fine. I'll email Mrs Laurie and get the official answer for ya! (There might be some legality etc.)
