Cheney Impeachment Resolution In Committee

A resolution to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney was sent to the House Judiciary Committee for review. What do you think?

Unfortunately he has already done alot of damage. However, I do think it would show that the American public will not and does not tolerate his horrible acts and decisions. The impeachment process is in the constitution for a reason, it does not have to be for a treasonous reason. Although I believe that both Cheney and Bush are traitors and war criminals. Remember California recalled (same thing, but on a state level) their governor over electrical issues. It's all about checks and balances.

If there existed a draft, people would be in the streets over this waste of lives and money. My guess is GW and Cheney will need attorneys on retainer when we realize the full extent of what has transpired in Iraq. Most of his inner circled have left the building.

I want to see him try and travel overseas once he's out of office. I bet there are plenty of countries that would love to arrest him for war crimes.

Check it out.

What cracks me up is that some people are hesitant.

We won't impeach a prez for war crimes in which thousands and thousands have died ...
but we'll impeach a prez for lying about a bl....marital indiscretion of the oral nature?

gimme a break

I think you mean, "would be in Canada." Americans don't have much will to stand up to the gov't and tell them to shove it.
