This week Florida Grapefruit are 2 for $1.89. an excellent price. I don't know what will happen to the prices when the Florida citrus season is in full swing. USDA predicts higher prices for citrus this year. At any price, they are beautiful, tasty and tree ripened.

Great! Good to know where to get some local produce down here. I am from Atlanta and buy as much of my food as possible at the Morningside Market on Saturday morning. Once you start to eat local, you realize how pathetic grocery store produce can be!

My coworkers have been passing around the band fundraiser sign-up sheets (why does a high school band from Florida need to go to Hawaii, anyways?) and the prices for the citrus sale didn't really seem to be more expensive than they were last year.

That is great news that the fundraising companies can keep prices the charge about the same as last year. Hopefully the citrus price forcasters are as accurate as the hurricane forecasters this year. Thanks for the update, it made my day.
