The New Gulf Coast Choir (a traditional youth gospel choir) based out of Panama City is performing at 6 p.m. in Seaside.

The choir will be in the space in between Fusion Art Gallery and Hooch & Holly's in the new Lyceum Gateway building.

If you are out and about you don't want to miss this performance! The kids are amazing and their stories are very touching.
The choir director and his wife (story about it in the current issue of Coastal Homes & Lifestyles) fund mentoring weekend excursions out of their own pocket, as well as a prom for the kids.

Great example of local people making a difference in local kid's lives.

They have been invited to perform in Atlanta at a Hawk's game and are trying to raise money for gas, food, etc.

Please come support the group!
It'll be a massive night in Seaside too - musicians in Ruskin Park, a fundraiser at the school at 7 p.m., ArtWalk, etc.

Funn!!!

Ack! You can tell I was tired when I typed that! Sorry - Sept. 7th (Friday).

Many thanks to Fusion, Hooch & Holly's, Molly Caroline's and Great Southern for hosting the concert.

Music was AWESOME last night!

Not a dry eye in the crowd during several songs.

Even if you aren't religious - these kids are just so much fun to watch. Kurt took photos (hopefully he'll post?).

They are performing again in Seaside (with an even larger group) on the 15th at 6 p.m. back in Ruskin Place.
It's going to be one of those concerts that people talk about for months.
Don't miss it!!!!!

Thanks Sunny...there will be over 40 children singing in the choir this Saturday nite...Mike and Mechelle Grady formed the group over 20 years ago and the majority of the alumni have gone on to college and some even have musical careers.
The Gradys have taken these kids from the streets and mentored,
tutored and taught them to sing and love the Lord. They are truly awe-inspiring.
A Simple Faith, a new church in SoWal, is sponsoring these children as part of their outreach program. We are raising money for instruments, computers and eventually a place for these kids to come to after school to study and practice their music. Donations for the choir will be accepted at the Saturday performance
A Simple Faith, led by Dr. Ronnie McBrayer, is located at the old Regions Bank building next to Seagrove Market. Service is at 9:30AM each Sunday.
