Does anyone know what happened to Bayou Arts and Crafts and Chick Huttell?

He sold the property to the county. The TDC has some plans for it.

I'm fairly certain that Chick has not reopened the store at another location. He is building a new house, which will soon be complete, and my guess is that he is "retiring."

Saw (actually, met) Chick last weekend at the Coastal Heritage meeting.

Hogtown Bayou, just south and adjacent to Cessna Landing off of 393 north.

:wub: ...did he say what he was doing next? I am glad I have my Chick original hanging over a fireplace here, but I really want another! I used to have his email...I'll try and find it.
