Being a resident of Clearwater we know nothing is better than hanging with the locals. Can someone please advise what the local crowd schedule is for the week. We arrive 6/23 and depart 6/30. This is our 3rd year in Seagrove but first time for nightlife due to children. Early 30's but like to hang in laid back setting (ie. drinks, conversation, live music, etc.)

Most locals, except for those who go every day, stay away from the Red Bar at night during the busy months, except on Saturday (12-3) for the Waco Ramblers and Sunday (12-3) for Dread Clampitt. However, I think this weekend Waco will be playing both days. It is CRAZY in there at night.

Go to Blue Orleans one night - in Blue Mountain Beach. Great live music, beer & wine only.
Stinky's Fish Camp (west end of 30-A) usually has live music during the dinner hour and good oysters. Also beer & wine only.
Red Bar in Grayton - SAt. and Sun. afternoons
The 331 Cafe (south of the 331 bridge) - On Sunday from 4-8 there is live music.
Borago (in Grayton) - no live music but many locals at the bar and delicious martinis and margaritas

D&K Cafe and Borago, both in Grayton. If you go to D&K, don't skip dessert, that chocolate extravaganza...mmmmm!
If Borago, ask for the "Miss Kitty Special," which is:
Mixed Green Salad with Pears, Cheese & Spiced Pecans
Seared Scallops with Roasted Tomatoes and Soft Polenta
Chocolate Creme Brulee
And don't forget to have a glass or two of Napa Valley wine at either place. Bon appetit, ya'll!

I've never had the chocolat crème brûlée there, and I'm a chocoholic! Thanks, Donna, for the recommendation. I'll try it next time. And a Napa wine. :D
