Wanted to come to Watercolor this weekend. Way to expensive to fly with 4 boys Any of you guys have alternate directions, routes,ideas....sounds like I-10 is out of service for a long long time.....

I heard there is a detour around the damaged bridge in Mississippi. If you do come over, be sure to snap some pictures during the ride over. I have a feeling Mississippi is going to be hurting for quite some time.

I too will be traveling from Dallas to Seagrove in about a week. Anyone else hitting any of these highways in the next week, please share. This was our original route:

I-20 Dallas, TX to Jackson, MS
US49 Jackson, MS to Hattisburg, MS
US98 Hattisburg, MS to Mobile, AL
I-10 Mobile, AL to the 331 Bridge

Any other suggestions are welcomed!

Have you tried AAA or the DOT in LA, MS? It may be too early though. Good luck.

I have not heard a recent update, but I do know that I-10 in Pensacola was closed Sunday. As Sueshore suggested, try the DOT or AAA websites for road closures.
