Thanks, Joe, for the photos. I'm sure that took a lot of your time, but it is so educational to those of us in exile in other parts of the world.

We should be at our house for Labor Day (probably to clean up). Hope to see some of the SoWalers then.

Thanks, Joe, for the photos. I'm sure that took a lot of your time, but it is so educational to those of us in exile in other parts of the world.

We should be at our house for Labor Day (probably to clean up). Hope to see some of the SoWalers then.Indeed you will see many SoWal'ers. I expect that the theme of the "party" has changed dramatically, as SJ hinted a week ago that it might, to one of community, compassion, caring, and volunteerism. That is the true spirit of this board, of which I am proud to be a member.

At the appropriate time, I am sure there will be posts about where/when/how we can all (local and remote) help in the relief and clean up effort. Let's write (and mail) the checks to Red Cross, make our time, labor, skills and homes available as needed, and generally pitch in for the greater good.

I can't think of better labor on Labor Day. Godspeed to all.
