An Iyengar Yoga community is being built by Sharon Conroy. She taught many years in New Orleans (and developed an Iyengar community there) and has taught on 30A a bit in the recent past so some already know her. Iyengar yoga is the real deal and is suitable for all levels of experience or beginners.

Sharon is in the shops of grayton in the back left building which is a very nice space looking over a cypress pond and woods. It's very spacious, light, and comfortable.

I encourage all to drop by and check it out.

Sharon is great!!!

I have been to every studio and nearly every teacher in SoWal and nearby and Sharon has the nicest space. I have met and studied with many beautiful teachers but Sharon has more knowledge and experience than any other. She is the real deal and we are lucky to have her. She also teaches workshops all over the eastern seaboard and other places and is well known nationally.

She offers half price classes for new students. Iyengar is very refreshing and will help you improve no matter your strength or body type. I encourage everyone to check it out.

I attended sharon's therapeutic yoga class yesterday afternoon and it was awesome. its hard work, but supported with the use of many props, and so relaxing at the end with restorative poses.

great class. can't wait to try more of sharon's classes. she is certainly highly trained/experienced. the real thing. we're very fortunate to have her in SoWal!
