Glass scrap

I have a friend who has a glass shop, he said he just throws the excess away, didn't know what else to do with it. I think it would be a source for some art project. Anybody got any ideas? They are some pretty cool pieces. Could make a decoupage, or cover a painted table or something.

What kind of glass? There are probably a few artists that can use it.
