Is this a fundraiser?

Love your Tar! Yes, It is a fund-raiser for the Seaside Neighborhood School.

We are in the last minute worrying stage of the Seaside Half Marathon and 5k. I have always been a runner, not really been involved in the planning and organizing of the race until this year. It is becoming a well-oiled piece of machinery. A lot of hard work by a group of devoted people, some with kids at Seaside, some with kids at other schools and some with no kids at all. This is the school's largest fund-raiser and the biggest draw of people into the area. We are expecting between 2000 to 2300 runners plus family into the South Walton area this weekend. Please come out and have a great time!

You may still be a sneaker sponsor if you are interested. The sneaker sponsor is a $100.00 donation. A running shoe shaped sign will be painted by artists Justin/Billie Gaffrey, Joe Cloutier and the students from Seaside, with your family or businesses name on it. They will be posted along the course, lining it with colorful shoes! We also have a lot more entertainment along the course this year! Look for some local bands, cheerleaders and some surprises along the way!

30A Radio will be broadcasting live, Saturday and Sunday, and doing live feeds during the race.

I probably gave you more info than you were looking for, but it's hard not to get excited by it all!
