Well I finally quit my job.:D Unfortunately I did not have another waiting in the wings:eek: . Now I am in a major job hunt mode. I am basically looking for anything including a possible career change!! I have 22 years in the mortgage banking/real estate closing/title insurance business. If anyone is looking for hard working person such as myself please contact me. Or at least say a prayer for me....Thanks!!

 Hey Dawg-:welcome: Way to go! I did the same thing, well kinda, sorta (tee hee) about a year and a half ago. It's been great, whenever I'm not wastin' time thinkin' 'bout woulda, coulda, and shoulda's. Take some time to explore all those things you couldn't when you were too busy bustin' your butt for the man. Everthing else will flow like smooth, creamy buttah. Just so you know, that's what I'm going to pray for you! Take a walk and smell the roses, friend. ;-) Well I finally quit my job.:D Unfortunately I did not have another waiting in the wings:eek: . Thanks kathyd. I  your signature quote too. Who is Isak Dinesen?
Just curious does Lacey Springs, Alabama actually have a spring that you can swim in?

Karen Blixen- Danish writer. Her pen name was Isak Denisen. You may be familiar with "Out of Africa" (and it comes on in a few minutes!!:clap_1: )

Your welcome. The name is actually Lacey's Spring. I it named after 3 brothers whose last name was Lacy.

The spring that had drawn the Lacys to Alabama in the early 19th century was covered over by highway construction in the late 20th century. Built in the 1960s, the north-bound lanes of Hwy 231 obscured the spring but a 48-inch tile placed into the water source allowed the spring to continue flowing. The spring flows under the highway. You can't swim in it. But you can swim in the Tennessee River that is only a mile from house.

 Thanks kathyd and jd...very interesting stuff. Who says message boarding is a waste of time? I learned all kinds of stuff this am. Now I wonder why she, Denisen, used ficticious names? Something like Samuel Clemmons, maybe?
And, also how a tile keeps a spring open? Maybe they did the best they could do back then. I'm glad you have the river to swim in. We have Old Hickory Lake up here to play in. Its part of the Cumberland River. Funn to camp along. BTW, do ya'll spell it that way just for funn?
 Now back to your thread , FDawg. Keep thinking overflowing and abundant thoughts. You had to leave there to get to where you're going., a much better place. Take time to play with your inner child again.
