We have been coming to the Panhandle (from Louisville) most of our lives. Don't like the settings of most areas - high rises, lots of people. We heard about Seaside years ago and started working our way over there. With the bike trail - that was perfect. We were at Seagrove (Eastern Lake) a couple of years and finally found the spot to come to once a year - Grayton Beach - 1 block from the Red Bar. (As Uof fans, it's perfect!) Hope to increase our time to twice a year (follow the Cards too much on the road). Then some day spend one or two months in the winter. It's what keeps us going each year:)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to answer the question for you.....we had vacationed in Destin for about nine years. Then like alot of people we thought it was getting TOO CROWDED, also the condo life was getting in the way of our night time fun (could you keep it down please!?) so we found a wonderful house in seagrove, pool, ocean view, not to mention the most gorgeous beach in Florida :!: :!: and now we just come back year after year. What started as a group of fifteen has turned into a crowd of 70 beachlovers and friends, watch out we are invading in June!!! I found this web site through a friend who would frequent grayton beach.com, now I'm hooked

RO & I are hoping to bring the little otters down in June, maybe we can hook up one night! Don't know the dates yet ...we had planned 6/4-6/11 but one of the little otters just found out he's going on a school trip to Mexico on those days, so we're hoping for mid June. Anyone else going to be there?

That would be fun to get some members to hook up on the beach :!: :!: our gang will be there June 24 thru July 3rd, we are all staying in the same area. Some have houses on Periwinkle (paradise too sub) others in the beacons and my gang is the seawalk sub. Margaritas anyone :D well, we are from missouri....we love our AB products 8) take care!!!

I found the board a couple of years ago. But I don't know how to really use it. We have a couple of condos in Seagrove and during Ivan, Kurt was wonderful, I lost touch with him around two a.m. that fateful Wednesday night. I teach school, my computer at work alerted me when he came back on line, on this board. He told us all that our "stuff" was still standing. Jim Cantore had almost convinced us otherwise! Oli told us what a "great family guy" Kurt is. Thank you all for every bit of info on the wonderful area that we love most in the world!

I found all you nice people and this board when I was searching the internet for post-Ivan photos! I saw on the weather channel a lot of footage of the area, and thought I could find up to date photos. Well, I landed on Graytonbeach.com, and the rest is current. I was a guest for a while before I built up enough trust to register here. Oh, I am so glad I did. Thanks !!
