If it turns on, it would help!;-) Sorry, that cannot happen -- the power supply cable melted into the plug outlet in the back of the computer, and it fried the Compaq computer. They told me to turn it off and not use it again until it was looked at by one of their technicians. I said screw that and bought a Toshiba tablet instead.
