Hello all,

We have a possible buyer maybe coming into town tomorrow from Tallahassee. They have just retired and haven't been here in 25 years. Here is what they are looking for, if you have it, please let us know:


Condo, Townhome, or Home
prefer 2 bedroom, but will go smaller if there is room for a sleeper for the grandkids or family
would like to be in a community (doesn't have to be gated) where there are perhaps other retirees or a close knit group of folks who like to socialize every now and then
would love to have a community pool
the closer to the beach the better
price is about $250,000 but they would like to do a lease option for at least a year to make sure this is where they want to beThanks for your time.

You should have them look at Bungalows @ Seagrove.

They are individual 2 bedroom bungalows, with community pool(s).

When I first started tracking them in the spring of '06 the listing range was $399K to $539K. They have been dropping the low end listing price about $20K every 6 weeks or so, such that now the low listing is $299. From the number of listings in the MLS it doesn't appear that many (if any) have sold during the last 6 months.

If the prices continue to drop at these same rates, there should be listings in your clients range in the Bungalows @ Seagrove within the next 3 months.

Heck, if they can wait another year, they might be able to buy 2. ;-)
