long-time residentsof Grayton Beach, Tommy Sholes Sr. passed away Dec 23. Not having checked the newspapers lately, I missed hearing about it until my brother told me last night.

I don't know if any of them read this board, but hugs to DeLene, June, Carol & Tommy Jr. :(

It was very sad...they are a WONDERFUL family! :wub: I have the pleasure of knowing Carol & June.
I do not believe that any of the family were SoWalllers, but they are truly the heart of the South Walton community!

Tommy was a stand up guy, one of the first people that I met when I moved here 10 years ago. He was a friend of a friend and treated me like family from the moment that I met him. I hope when I'm older people will think of me like I think of Tommy. Rest in peace Tommy.

Tommy was a kind and gentle person and we miss him very much.

I love Tommy and will miss him so much :wub: - he was such a generous and gentle man, and truly embraced family and life. He leaves behind a wonderful family (wife, children, granchildren, neices, nephews, brother, and many friends) who will celebrate his life from now on.

Tommy's memorial service will be at Pt Wash Methodist Church tomorrow (Wed) at 11am.

God bless Carol and her family. I had heard early morning on Christmas Eve. Thanks to a Sowaller wishing us her condolences about Doug's father. Oh my, this is so hard.....
