Dear Relayer, Have you ever felt hope in its purest form? Have you ever seen someone find help when they needed it most? Have you ever taken the fight against cancer into your very own hands? If you haven't, you may never have been to an American Cancer Society Relay For Life® event - and you may never have shared in one of the most moving experiences for those touched by cancer.
Relay For Life is the yearly event where a community can come together to take up the fight against a disease that has affected too many people. And the funds raised at Relay help the American Cancer Society in its mission to save lives, help those touched by cancer, and empower people to fight back against this disease.
This unforgettable event success of a Relay, however, comes from volunteers in the community who lead the way for others. It comes from people taking a personal role the fight against cancer and doing everything they can to help win the war. The American Cancer Society and Relay For Life can do so much for so many people right here in South Walton, and you can help.
This years Relay will be held again at South Walton High School on March 30-31, 2007. Our event will kick off the Relay Season for the Emerald Coast and we hope to see you there!
