Angie McKowen passes
Deepest condolences to the family of Angie McKowen, beloved postmistress and head crazy lady of the Seaside Post Office. Angie passed away in the wee hours of this morning with family at her side. Funeral arrangements are still pending, though Glen Clary Funeral Home in DeFuniak Springs will be tending the service.
God's speed Angie. You will be missed greatly. Now go make people in Heaven laugh!! :)

Oh, this is such sad news. Angie was always a bright spot in the day. My sympathy to her family.

She will be missed! 
Angie made the Seaside post office what a post office should be - a happy friendly place with knowledgeable and competent staff.
And she was quite patient with my random letter sending dilemmas - friends in the Peace Corp got mail and oversize holiday cards made it to their destinations thanks to Angie!
