Thank you to Capt Larry Pentel & SoWal Community

We were in Grayton Beach a couple of weeks ago (the week it rained everyday). I have to say that even though the weather was miserable we had a great time.

This is our 3rd year coming down to enjoy your beautiful beaches and community and would like to say thank you for keeping this amazing area as noncommercial as possible.

We loved the fact that the new Publix opened where it did, so we didn't have to drive to Destin or Panama.

Have to give kudos to:

Capt Larry Pentel - we went out fishing 2x's and it was great. He was so informative about the marine life that we saw. Entertaining - I told him he needed a webcam on his boat, for everyone's enjoyment, but he wouldn't go for it.

Red Bar for the best spicy Bloody Mary - didn't even know I liked them. Waffles and rum runners - gotta love it.

Shorty's for the best soushi - it was incredible - even when we already had a full meal.

Yellow Fin (John) - for excellent advice and great kayaks - even if we all almost died trying to get them out in the water! We bought kites for the kids and they loved them! Would recommend the butterfly kite.

And thank you to all the locals on the forum who keep us connected until we can return. I am sure that there are several people like myself who watch the beach cam and read your posts in order to stay in touch with the area and people. We wish all of you the best and even though we don't know you, you still feel like family. Good luck and God bless you all.
