Back home in Bham after a glorious week with folks in Grayton. I can remember a time when, and still may be in effect here, a citizen could call local officials with the tag number of cars whose occupants were observed littering. It was a system that tracked reports by tag numbers. The first report earned a notification letter..ie, "we have recieved a report..". Second report, we have another and should we recieve any further reports, you (vehicle owner) will be fined in the amount of....". Next fines and mandatory litter pick up duty. The community must decide how seriously you want to take this but I would think , as a tourist mecca because of the beauty of the area, you would want to "motivate" people...Of course all this relies on the services that are provided to the community and paid for by taxes. But hey, you get what ou pay for...
